Okay, thanks!
So catalinco's problems can't be firmware specific.

Re: Beta: Internet & games on Trident-based C550
Are you also using the latest version 1023.0?sairuk wrote:For this software the log is in /tmp/log.txt
On my C550 it seems telnet is not enabled until a USB device is connected & mounted, yours may be the same.

Re: Safe to upgrade to latest firmware (C550)?
Thanks for your reply!
I've just read a post from user with the latest version and he got some problems:

But this could be another problem. Don't know.

Okay, the compatibility table has been updated and the hacks are also working with 1.023.

Safe to upgrade to latest firmware (C550)?
Hello! We own a LE32C550 and I didn't hack it yet because of time issues and being afraid to brick it. Currently the software version is T-TDT5DEUC-1021.0. I would like to know if it's safe to upgrade to 1023.0 without losing the option to hack the device later? Anyone here who performed this update...

Re: Hardware specs and compiling..and xbmc
I'm still using an ~10 year old Xbox just because XBMC and don't want to miss it.
Only if it could better handle HiDef vids.
I really would love to see a port of XBMC

Re: Samsung LN32C550 - does this work on the C models?
Is it correct that the LN32C550 got an Ex-Link port at the back?
If so you could probably help the developers in researching.
I have a LE32C550 but it doesn't have an Ex-Link port.

Re: LExC550 SamyGo
Thank you juuso! That's great! So does the VGA port also function as a serial connection? I would try to at least connect to the TV and readout the MICOM or EEPROM or what this is about, but flashing right now is probably too dangerous. Don't know if this could be still helpful. I have a long DB-9 c...

Re: LExC550 SamyGo
Okay, I've opened the case and took some hi-res pictures with my shaky hand
I didn't recognize any internal Ex-Link connector or JTAG port.
I send them to you through pm since I don't know if some of the numbers are serial numbers.
