Re: Port of NTFS-3g succeeded

Sorry, I haven't come to this forum for ages. You have the same TV model than me, so it should work. Can you login to the TV via SSH and then execute the telnet.sh script manually, and see what i says? Some tips: * The HDD must be connected before you load the NTFS-3G game. Any NTFS drive connected ...

Re: Port of NTFS-3g succeeded

I did some additional tests, and I found out that I cannot record anything over 900Kbit/s. Too much CPU load that ends up into corrupted recording. As in Spain we have very few broadcast with such a good quality (average is 300Kbit/s), I will keep using NTFS-3g for "standard" recordings, w...

Re: Port of NTFS-3g succeeded

New PVR+ 1.5 will detect NTFS-3G "magic" and allow to record on such partitions. I don't understand this one. I can use PVR+1.4 with ntfs3g without problems, just selecting the HDD. What do you mean exactly with "detect"? Do you mean that PVR+ will automatically mount NTFS-3G pa...

Re: Port of NTFS-3g succeeded

[...]The problem seems to be related with the "sync" option in the mount, which I forgot to add.[...] Thank you. New version (with sync option) seems to perform much better . No coredumps. Files remain intact after disconnecting the drive. That's good. Remaining problems: - too slow for r...

Re: Port of NTFS-3g succeeded

Hello! I am very interested in recording on NTFS partition using PVR+ and your NTFS-3G driver. But I cannot. Well, I've tried and I can. That's good. It means that eventually, you will too :). When Content Library version is used, NTFS partition allows me to create directories, copy files etc. but ...

Re: EncFS port for Samygo

Hi, just for those of you that are interesting on this extension, one tip. I found out that using the default encryption values of EncFS is a little hard for the TV, specially when higher bitrates are required (i.e. HD movies/series). If you have the chance to create a new EncFS partition, try with ...

Re: Port of NTFS-3g succeeded

GREAT!!! Do you mean we can use PVR app to record on NTFS formatted HDD? :D Thank very much!!! That's right :D. That was the first intention. Collateraly, you can remove/change name/move files in your NTFS HDDs without unplugging them from the TV (if you are using the FTP server). Note that the FUS...

Re: EncFS port for Samygo

Hi everyone, for those that are not interested on performing an SSH to mount the encrypted partition, I have done a Game that mounts the partition from the Content Library list. Note that before you can mount partition, you have to edit the telnet.sh file (following the comments). It also includes n...
