I have been offered a refund from Samsung because of the 3D issue (not as originally advertised by Samsung) for my D6100 which was purchased 6 months ago.

My retailer wrote to me to tell me that he was contacting Samsung about my complaint and would get back to me in due course. They seem to do similar on their Twitter pages, where they sometimes remove the users comments but leave their response.

The problem is that the hardware is just not up to it in the 6 series The 7 and 8 series have faster processing, therefore any firmware "fix" will be compromised for the 6 series.

SO, The technician came today armed with a new main board and wifi module. As predicted however, the customer support chap hadnt properly described the problem. I showed the test images to the Tech chap who was genuinely surprised and said he hadnt been aware of it before before completely agreeing...
