Re: 403 at http://infolink.zsolttech.com/Widget/ChannelInfo.
where this info comes from? I debugged what is going on (using Wireshark) when I was following http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rooting_D_series_arm_cpu_models to install SamyGo on my UExxD6yyy TV. I ended up removing the ChannelInfo widget from widgetlist.xml and afterwards the "User Applicat...

Re: Netflix on UE40D6200
I downgraded the firmware (to T-GAS6DEUC 1011 according to viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4199) as advised in viewtopic.php?p=43492#p43492. Now the Netflix app starts but complains about "Not connected to the Internet.".

Re: Samsung UE46D6510WSXZG I need the US Firmware
Hello GigiGigi, I've described the same problem over here: http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=5847 On another page I read that netflix checks somehow the firmware and since it is a Europeen one it will not open. My theory is they implemented Netflix using a Smart Hub App that uses somet...

Netflix on UE40D6200
Hello everyone, I would like to watch Netflix on my UE40D6200 TV. While according to https://support.netflix.com/en/node/2250 my TV is supported in general, it turns out that whether or not Netflix works not only depends on the "Internet Region Setting" (or whatever Samsung calls it), but ...

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only)
It`s up to you to use SamyGO or not to use it. Of course it is. What I am trying to do here is improve this "reverse engineering community", but you will probably disagree that I am. I`m not going to explane every security gap what we`re using for this or another exploit. Why? Because aft...

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only)
Hello, unfortunately there is not much information available in this topic about how this "hack" was actually archieved. For me as a new user reading [1] it looks like all you are doing is install a widget (or extention or whatever Samsung calls it) using a developer mode of the TV (which ...
