Re: Dual View available for iOS (iPad)
On iTunes and here as running commentary to the Samsung app I read the following for an 46ES7090: --> update the TV?s FW to the latest available SW, --> remove the app from the iPhone/iPad, reboot the device, and afterwards re-install the app, --> remove the TV from the main power supply, wait some ...

Dual View available for iOS (iPad)
Dear community, those of you who have an iPad and use the Samsung TV app may have seen this: Samsung enabled here the ?Dual View? (Smart View) feature, but unfortunately only for devices from 2012. The older types (even if they could) don?t seem to be supported. I have a UE46D8000, using FW 1018 (wi...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
based on my direct experience, I would suggest to copy on your PC also the following items: ...PVRDBVersion.mgr ... "ace.log" ... "ace.dat"... ".PVRPfmChkLog". Is there really use for those files in the PC world? If yes, for which tools (windows and/or Linux?), and fur...

Re: PVR Disable Encryption C/D Serie.
this is mainly for the hospitality hack, where it gets executed with every start of the TV, so no start of the widget is neccesary. Thanks a lot for the good advise. This is really something I did not consider yet (I.e. timer recordings), as for normal Tv watching the Tv can be programmed to start ...

Re: PVR Disable Encryption C/D Serie.
@ Denny and DEUS, I hope that you will allow me a question, but after reading the whole discussion here there is still one thing that I have not understood. I have a UE46D8000, rev1018 firmware with running SamyGO (finally after this great firmware downgrade possibility). But do I still need to have...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
To be honest, I would rather vote for adding the PVR decryption to SamyGO PVR Manager than improving DeSTRoi But aren't those two pair of shoes? I must admit, that I don't know what kind of possibilities SamyGo gives to you and whether therefore a combined tool makes sense (for me this option most ...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
@Sisternicky: What is the secret about this adaptation field switch? I am just curiousas I owe an UE46D8000 (using T-GAP8DEUC_1021.2, i.e. unfortunately w/o SamyGo) and tried your latest DeSTRoi release (by the way, and this also goes to Denny, merilix and Spoza: GREAT STUFF!!!) with some of my reco...
