I don't quite understand: I can use these three pins to provide power supply to another device?juuso wrote:if you need, you can use +3.3 and 5v (with GND) as power source for your needs or just leave those two untouched.
I don't need it... A voltage transformer is more appropriate to do it...

Re: Help for building an exlink cable for c series.
You don't needed to supply power to TV. You are gonna use just GND,TXD and RXD pins. Not 3.3 and 5v pins. Thanks. I haven't bought the one in the photo, as it is being auctioned, but another similar one that is for sale. I'm going to receive it in about 5-10 days. When I'll receive it, I'll try it ...

Re: Help for building an exlink cable for c series.
Hi,
I want to buy this adapter (I'll use it with linux).
As you can see in this image, there is a "3.3V" pin. Do I have to provide more power supply or I just have to connect the cables in the right pins to make it work?
Thanks!

Re: C530 - Which Port to Debug ?
Did you have to change the TV type to C550 in the service menu? Yes, he did ;) I have the same television as the one who posted this post. Is changing the model dangerous? In my service menu the model is "LC530", but i know that is "C530". Do I have to change it to "LC530&q...

Re: Enable PVR and MHP on LE32C530 with T-TDT5DEUC
yes, this exlink cable is perfect. You just need to set required service menu values and use right pins on your VGA connector. You can try to hack your (parents) TV, but you should know the procedure has potential risk to brick also in hacking stage. I suggest you to read related topic and don`t sp...

Re: Enable PVR and MHP on LE32C530 with T-TDT5DEUC
Hi, C530/550 have very limited firmware and all what you can do on it - get root, run SamyGO Extentsions and have nfs/samba mounts for your media player. Here are some apps available for Trident... MHP: I think the TDT5DEUC has no code for mhp and pvr even the service menu contains options to switc...

Re: How to hack the LE32C579
but I dont have a linux environment available. Why don't you get it? You can try Ubuntu , it is very simple and easy to install. If you know how to burn an ISO image and boot the PC from a CD, the rest is very very simple... If you wait 9 days you can get the new version, the 12.04 LTS, which is mo...
