Have any. Of you guys downgraded your firmware hen upgraded and downgraded again e.g 2003 to 1015 to 1018 to 1015.

I have noticed reduced brightness on getting back to 1015 from when I did it first time round.

I did m8 yet it still doesnt recognise the file. Its the same process and USB stick that I have used on my other TV C7000 series so it really should work.

I got the file off the WIKI page so assume that is ok too ?

Tried upgrading to F:\T-GAP8DEUC on my PS51D8000 ..... but TV doesnt find it off my USB stick ?

BTW going down to 1015 you lose the ability to watch netflix and youtube 3D

I have 1 PS51D8000 and I have downgraded to 1015.0 in the "Contact Samsung" Menu but when trying to upgrade to 1016.3 via USB it says no files found? Any ideas, I have factory reset by holding down EXIT for 15 sec but still the same... Confused. Thanks silly question but are you familar w...

Just refering to step 7 Is this the only way to Install newer firmware now?...and the online method will not work. I want to install 1018.1, I don't know how to change the version number as mentioned in another post as Moines has told me. So my only option is via Usb?:sad: make a factory reset then...

Has anyone had a go at enabling other cameras to work on the D series TV.

I personally find the marketing very misleading as samsung purport that their TV's are Skype but you need to go buy a ?100 camera !!! .... pretty sure they have moved off the grey there onto black.

OK think I have it now. It obviously didnt actually install but went into "alternative software" ...... I went in there and found the firmware and installed it from there ....d oh!!!
