Thank you for your answers.
I rooted my ES8000 by the USB method, and I connected it with samyGOPVRDecoder, but then samyGOPVRDecoder crashed: You can see that samyGOPVRDecoder recognizes my TV USB flash drive.
Any ideas?

And how is this possible? Your firmware is T-ECPDEUC, which is not supported for rooting, as stated here: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rooting_the_ES-series
Same version as mine ES8000 - T-ECPDEUC, only mine is 1014.1.

@Lordbyte I'd like to have destroi for my ES8000, but I want to be sure it is working with my model. I intend to use it to decrypt files from my recorded on TV flash drive on my PC. Can I do that or I need to have SammyGO installed on my TV? Can you please confirm that destroi is working with ES8000...

Destroi x.x.x for ES series.

Destroi 1.3.3 doesn't decrypt ES series recordings.
