Re: [App] Subtitle Font Size and Color Patch for D

Hello, the patch does not work on D-series blu-ray player (BD-D8900). This is the console output: fontsizecolorpatch -n exeDSP -s 36 -m 38 -l 40 -d Error getting symbol: adbg_CheckSystem Error getting symbol: _ZN17CAceMPVideoPlayer11InitCaptionEv Error getting symbol: _ZN17CAceMPVideoPlayer21UpdateC...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final

I haven't checked if the 2 bits are cleared, but apparently, after having decrypted a file with DRMDecrypt (not Destroi, that I haven't tried), and replaced the unencrypted file on the TV, the TV can't play it, and says it is encrypted for another TV! I have to also remove the key from the MDB file...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final

Annoying bug: even if DeSTRoi says it didn't find any key in MDB (because the recording is unencrypted) , it still "decrypts" it ==> resulting file is corrupt and unusable. Expected behavior: it should skip decrypting and just download the file as is Something is wrong with your files. Ac...

B-FIRHRDEUC firmware v. 1007

Hello,
does anyone have the original unpatched firmware B-FIRHRDEUC version 1007? I believe BD-D8200/8500/8900 devices use it. I am not able to find it anywhere and I would like to do some research.

Thanks!

Re: Firmware Decrypt

Thanks for the hint. 7zip did the trick. I didn't know that the img files are compressed as well. I just looked at the contents of the files with the hex editor and I couldn't see anything. Still, SamyGO patcher (0.31BeteBlue) downloaded yesterday needed modification for B-FIRHRDEUC. I modified this...

Re: Firmware Decrypt

Hi, I am also trying to decode the blu-ray firmware to learn a little more. In my case it is BD-D8900 firmware (B-FIRHRDEUC). The previous samygo patcher didn't work at all. However I managed to modify the latest one to make it run. When I run the script with decrypt_all parameter, the three files e...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final

An updated version of DeSTRoi is available.

Changes in version 1.3.3:
- Re-enabled and fixed on the fly FTP decoding (now using small memory buffer)
- Added an option to preserve the original filename that some find it useful
- Various GUI tweaks and minor bugfixes

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final

Guys, don't forget that not all of us can use samba shares on their TVs, so FTP access is essential. Is there any chance to have the application fixed/changed in a way that it doesn't open the awfuly designed windows for downloads and remembers the windows size, so that one doesn't need to resize i...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final

Great! But it is a pity you had to disable the on the fly FTP decoding. IMO, it should work. It crashed on my system because it was eating very rapidly all my memory. That must be due to a problem with the allocation of the memory (or more precisely, the memory not being freed when it should). Is i...
