Re: SamyGo+OSCAM+Boblight (ambilight)
It works like other libs: by patching/hooking/stuffing exeDSP Come on! I know what a lib is and that the mighty exeDSP needs to be 'manipulated'. But what goes on behind the scenes ? Is exeDSP patched to enable VideoOut on Scart and all the video processing is done in hardware (e.g. by enableing th...

Re: SamyGo+OSCAM+Boblight (ambilight)
But in general what is the main aim of libPVRtoScart? Can someone please give some more details on what this lib does and how it's working internally ? Is it just working with the tuner signals or does it also work for HDMI sources, Mediaplayer and SmartHub (Internet@TV) apps ? Is it working on C-m...

Re: Ambilight / Atmolight
To control the backlight LEDs you need an external microcontroller. Questin is how to spilt the required computing power between the TVs CPU and this external device. As there are many cheap, for example ARM based, controllers with USB and several DMPIS of computing power availavble today, it would ...

Re: Extended power cable ?
Hi, maybe you can 'build' your own connector, just using tree of these plugs: IFSHG635_BL.jpg The plugs do not have to fit perfect as long as they are sitting tight and insulated. They are crimped to the cable leads and you can use a cable with suitable length. Ask your local electrician about them.

Article about security holes is Samsung Smart TVs
Hello,
this is an article describing some of the security problems of Samsung Smart TVs.
I think most of the mentioned 'bugs' are already known to the community here but
maybe it gives some new ideas for hacking

Re: Mixed Channel List
Hi, I don't know if this solves your probem or is possible with your TV model but for C650 models it is possible to have up to four favorite lists. I have mixed digital and analog cable channels in that list for example. To generate a favorite list, go to TVs channel manager (menue->antenna->channel...

Firmware update, I'm confused
Hello, I have C650 with FW 3005.1 and PVR enabled already. To get Maxdome working, I need to upgrade to FW 3006.2 at least. On Maxdome web page, it is mentioned that it only works with FW 3006.2 or newer. I also want to root the TV to install SamyGO Extensions. By reading trough various forum thread...

Re: Mainboard replace: c530/550 and c630 TO c650/c679, get P
I did it ! I successfully 'upgraded' my LE40C630(T-VAL6DEUC) to LE40C650(T-VALDEUC) by just exchanging mainbords :) So the Wiki page http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Upgrade_TV_by_replacing_mainboard can be updated, it is not mentioned there that it works for this model type. Everything worked 'out ...
