Re: Noob help after routing D series
I thought I had installed it. I already followed instructions in that topic. I used NetCat from my PC and pasted the following into the shell: . /dtv/SGO.env; wget "http://forum.samygo.tv/download/file.php?mode=view&id=1175" -O /dtv/install.tar; tar -mvxf /dtv/install.tar -C / It looke...

Re: Noob help after routing D series
juuso - thanks for helping me again. Oh right so I understand about renaming the scripts to enable or disable them and that i can access them by FTP, but I'm not clear on how to install modules or where to find them. What do you mean by "use web interface-modules-online". Edit: Right, I th...

Noob help after routing D series
I hope someone can help with my issue. I've recently rooted my tv and have the samygo extensions installed. Problem is I dont know what I'm doing. I' read the wiki and other forum pages but they all seem to assume some prior knowledge. I don't want to ask questions that have already been answered bu...

Re: USBtoTTL-Adapter on VGAExLink
juuso thanks for the explanation on the codes. I've finally got it working. The codes i was typing were correct - I think the problem was that I wasn't pressing <enter>. I'm using a terminal program called "Accessport" which requires you to click on a "send" button. I interpreted...

Ex-link cable / TDM access code problem?
Hope someone can help with my new ex-link cable and my ue40d6530 tv. Got my new ex-link cable soldered up and half working but I'm having a strange issue. I am receiving the serial stream from the TV but can't send to the TV. When I type the access code 10041004 then 81588, then 20089999, nothing ha...

Re: USBtoTTL-Adapter on VGAExLink
@juuso I've been messing about with my converter since messages sent last week. Was wondering if you could help. I've made some limited progress - when I type "23331003" the terminal loops back any further the commands via the TV. Nothing else comes up - the TV continues to stream data and...

Re: Ex-link cable issues - Samsung UE40D6530
I've just tried mine with a soldered connector and it didn't work. Same as with the VGA cable. Think i'm going to try connecting different pins to see what happens! Bang possibly! Anyway, if yours is saying you need a jack (as in audio style jack?) If so then I think you should be able to use your c...

Re: Ex-link cable issues - Samsung UE40D6530
Yes, I was a little confused at first thinking that i needed another converter but I believe that is only if you started from a nokia type cable. I'm no expert but I do know that there are a number of different conversion steps to go from USB to TV, but the converter I have purchased does everything...
