Re: Patch HT-D5100 firmware - Half Done (I think)

He has same BD/FW as me (HT-D5100 / FIRHTBEUC 1016.3).
Probably some mistake when hex searching.. Everything's good now, he's testing his patched exeDSP :)

Re: Made mistake in user.sh patched BD-D7500B wont boot

Damn, you should get your own rc.local and rename it to user.sh, then add some commands, not just get someone else's user.sh..
I don't really know what you can do now..

Re: Made mistake in user.sh patched BD-D7500B wont boot

Nothing to do, the USB disk's LED flashes at same with the main circle LED in front of the BD and nothing happens  Any other option? Some kind of factory reset?! Thanks for your effort, Alex I don't know if it'll work, but try this: Create that script with Notepad++, ANSI encoding #!/bin/sh rm...

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)

Hi, I have a 3D Blu-ray Home Theater system( HT-D6750) and I am going crazy with the CINAVIA error. I made the mistake of upgrading to the newest firmware and have been since then blessed with the CINAVIA error. I followed the steps as shown in the first post and installed B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 succes...

Re: modifying exeDSP

So I tried this method but exeDSP is too big for /mtd_rwarea. So instead I put it in /mtd_rwcommon but apparently this doesn't get mounted until later so the bind command failed and regular exeDSP started. Any way to mount /mtd_rwcommon prior to bind line? Can you post your user.sh script ? You cou...

In bluray players running SamyGO patched FW, /mtd_rwarea/user.sh is automatically executed, if it's there of course.
That's why.

I don't know about TVs.

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)

Any chance you can update B-FIRHTBEUC to latest 1016.3?
I've decrypted it using SamyGO Firmware Patcher but I've no idea what to do to remove Cinavia etc.

Any help? :)

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)

I don't see it (B-FIRBSPWWC) in post #1 so I doubt it's downgradeable at the moment.. :( absolutely right. Confirmed working (B-FIRHTBEUC_001112, the one you mention no user reports)... ok, thanks for report! hey juuso! SamyGO Extensions don't seem to be working :( I followed those instructions htt...

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)

I have also been trying to understand how this works (how to make it work) on a BD-D6700-ZA. I picked up this player to take the place of my dead HTPC and it was fine until my wife upgraded. I tried to just jump in and follow the steps to downgrade and I got a 601 error also. Is the BD-D6700 downgr...
