Re: ExLink connection to Samsung T24E390

Sorry if I misunderstood something, but what I would like to do is to use my USB wifi stick (which by the way is not Samsung but of another brand that I have changed its PID to be compatible with Samsung TVs). I am using it with my older B300 TV-monitor without any problem (DLNA enabled). So for thi...

Re: ExLink connection to Samsung T24E390

@zoelechat Thank you again for your instructions. Without your help I was not going to discover the code for unlocking the terminal (as the required code was not in wiki). I first tried by using a live unix session (xubuntu) from usb stick. Since I had some errors due to writing permissions in Putty...

Re: ExLink connection to Samsung T24E390

Thank you @zoelechat for your help, but I am sorry that I cannot exactly understand how to "run" the code you wrote above. Just paste it to putty? Run it from a windows terminal ? ("seq" is not recognised as a command). By using TDM I hope to be able to make permanent the choice ...

Re: ExLink connection to Samsung T24E390

Finally SUCCESS !!!!!!!!
It turns out that the Ex Link port is the headphones jack (3.5 mm) above the CI.
Now I have to find the codes for the TDM. My TV-monitor has a sticker at back with the date March 2016.Any suggestion about the possible codes? (I have already tried some but no result).

Re: ExLink connection to Samsung T24E390

After receiving by new USB to TTL adapter I tried again with both of my TV-monitors (B300 and T24E390), but with the same results. B300 ..........success using Putty. T24E390......No output. So it's not the cable or the adapter. Any ideas? Is it possible the serial to be the 3.5mm that is above the ...

Re: ExLink connection to Samsung T24E390

While waiting for my new USB to TTL adapter I decided to make a new VGA Ex-Link. I made it and I have the same experience : Success with B300 and failure with E390. So it has nothing to do with bad soldering. At the same time I made another observation. When I connect the VGA part of the Ex-Link to ...
