Re: modifying exeDSP
@Chainfire, interesting... I`ve searched for: 08402DE9040050E300F19F973F3F00EA with pattern 3F (any char is to be found instead of 3F), on B-FIRHTBEUC: 1010.1 - 8910D5 1014.0 - 8B6F09 1016.3 - 8B7561 Addresses given of the first byte to be changed according howto. And this sequence of bytes is foun...

Re: modifying exeDSP
Regarding exeDSP modification, on B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 on a HT-D6500 . I actually installed the patched firmware from the SamyGO servers using the DNS trick, then pulled the exeDSP file off the device (rather than downloading from Samsung's site as described on the wiki). I based my patching on the wi...

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
The new extensions are working.
FTP is working, and though it took some effort (long uninteresting story) I also have my DLNA shares available directly through the virtual USB through CIFS - hurrah!
No more Cinavia, and finally decent seeking in MKVs. What more could I want ?

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
re-installing widget gives you another version of SamyGO - modules including. You have just test it :D p.s. syncing widgets does not affect any modifications you just done. Fair enough, I will attempt this tomorrow. Girlfriend came home from work, so I'm afraid I no longer have possession of the re...

It seems like I have succesfully patched exeDSP now to get rid of Cinavia, so before I do anything else - might the above break/reset that ?

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
I'm stuck now. On my HT-D6500, after a number of attempts, I seem to now be running B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 (from first post this should be SammyGO enabled ?) and have the SammyGO Extensions installed in SmartHub. I pulled the plug on the BD player and let it sit for 10 minutes, plugging it back in. As I...

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Ok, so I want to get rid of Cinavia. It has interrupted otherwise fine evenings. Complete noob at hacking my BD. So I input the DNS settings into my HT-D6500, and it finds an update, and I let it update. It updates from 1016 (august 2012) to 1116 (december 2012). Did this disable Cinavia ? Or is the...
