DLNA is not the problem, neither AVI which is only a container (as well as mkv and mp4). Samsung dropped support of DivX and Xvid (among others) , mostly video codecs used in AVI's. Nothing we can do there (at least in wait for hypothetical root one day, maybe), except add to the long list of no lon...

And thanks to that 3rd party website to "leak" a bunch of service manuals Samsung won't provide to end user...

Well, you still can restore the EDIDs you backed up as advised before using patch.
I don't know if EDIDs are defaulted on fw update, coz I never update.

What is "original firmware"?
No idea what happens to EDID on updating fw, but no need to care imho, no warez inside :)

Your bin is probably not correctly or not specifically compiled to work on your TV (wrong toolchain/arch), but there are tons of other possible unguessable causes.
