Re: Q7F How to Block Firmware Updates

Of course, that's the only reliable way, SM options are just hot air :)

Re: HG55EB690QB Bootloop issue ...

You should maybe look for similar design non-Hospitality mainboard: another F series (yes it's F-like series=2013 model, not B=2009).
Anyway, if "shorting something" did... something, you should definitely persist in trying EEPROM reset first.

ps: I know where is France :p

Re: HG55EB690QB Bootloop issue ...

You should take a better close up of the top left, there are EEPROM_stuff labels/pins.
Then read from there

Surely no both, at least in the near to mid future. We insistently tell to block fw updates for a reason :)

If it's 2017 Q (=M) yes, no idea about 2018 Q (=N) boundaries. Both cases forget it if you've got latest fw.

Re: [App] rccli K/M/Q, send keys from cmdline (no root required)

Too bad the guy never came back... Version should work on rpi2/3/zero if I believe support info. TV fw doesn't matter as long as it's <=1240 (greater won't work at all).

Re: [App] rccli K/M/Q, send keys from cmdline (no root required)

Well I don't know if rpi3 has anything specific vs "standard" armv7 I used (hardfloat maybe... I thought static build would workaround) Please try these ones I compiled with supposedly dedicated toolchain (rpi-gcc-6.3.0, is that it? you missed to tell :D ) Untested on rpi, no such toy here, but succ...

Can't guess fw, platform and build if you don't report :)
All builds have been tested, within hardware I have at disposal though. What is device?
