So, in order to apply the C-free patch, do I need to downgrade the firmware, or can i simply install the SamyGo extension pack?

well i tried watching amazing spiderman yesterday only to get the cinavia error message so I know my player is infested.

with that in mind, would you guys consider supporting the player?

You don`t need any downgrade, your firmware is ok. So can I Cinavia patch the firmware Ive allready got? Or should I try and find B-ECBHRDEUC 1011.0 somewhere online, patch that and update the player through USB? I take it the firmware isnt availiable pre-patched anywere? Sorry for being such a noo...

So I tried downgrading my BD-E8900S but I get the "No firmware availiable" message. The player is currently running 001008. Samsung has 001014 avaliable on their servers but I havent dared upgrading to that. Any advice?

No-one knows if this player can be patched? I truly hate this protection...

Is there any way of getting rid of Cinavia on this player. Either by downgrading the firmware or patching it?
