After downgrading I was able to upgrade again
As in the subjetc, more than one year ago I succesfully downgraded my BD-D6900 to the original 1003 FW revision through the DNS trick. Unfortunately if on one hand I avoided Cinavia, on the other hand I found some BluRay movies incompatibility and the inability to upgrade some important App in the S...

Re: Firmware Request for BD-D6900: B-FIRURDEUC 1007
Hi, accordinlgy to this page http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/ExeDSP_modifications also 1012 release should be compatible with SamyGO extension, since it claims that exeDSP C-free patch can be applied on 1012 release, thus meaning that before one has to root the device (with the SamyGO extension ins...

Re: exeDSP patch for BD-D6900 on recent firmwares ?
hi, this is possible, but all partitions and hash calculations needed to be written manually. Hi juuso, this sounds quite complicated and impractical for normal people, without a fool proof step by step guide, I suppose. My idea was to install the original 1012 firmware via usb (I kept a copy), app...

Hi juuso, in BluRay wiki under "exeDSP modifications - make custom patched firmware" is reported as succesfull the modification of B-FIRURDEUC 1012.0 firmware which is the firmware for the BD-D6900 model. Unfortunately some time ago I downgraded succesfully the firmware of my BD-D6900 thro...

Re: HT-E6750W Cinavia and exeDSP questions
Some patches are illegal (looking from samsung eyes), so we decided just to show how to do, but not provide patched binaries. Thanks juuso, I got your point now ... and what about my second technical question regarding Smarthub after a downgrade ? Can you confirm that downgrading firmware (even if ...

Re: HT-E6750W Cinavia and exeDSP questions
yes, you need patched fw to get access to your device. Hi juuso, but if a patched firmware is available, why a patched DSPexe is not already included by Samygo developers ? And another important question: I have a BD-D6900 BD Player, isntalled patched firmware, it is a pre-cinavia patched firmware,...

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Some of firmwares (first ones... one is already on your device) were shipped without cinavia protection. That`s why i say you don`t need to do something. Forget firmware upgrades and enjoy your movies. Hi juuso, I succesfully downgraded my BD-D6900 with a pre-cinavia firmware BUT some Apps like You...

After downgrade only older app on Smartub ?
Hi all, I have a BD-D6900 BD player and I tried succesfully DNS trick for downgrading (from B-FIRURDEUC_001012 to PATCHED B-FIRURDEUC_001103 (real 001003). After that I supposed not to have SamyGo extension installed, so through develop user account I syncronized with SamyGo server, but after 100% d...

How much free memory for SamyGo extension ?
Hi all, I succesfully downgraded my Samsung BD-D6900 with SamyGo pathced firmware B-FIRURDEUC_001103 and tried to install SamyGo extension through develop account in SmartHub, but when I tried syncronizing with SamyGo server I got a not enough free memory error (235MB used of 256MB); so unistalled s...
