But how we will know that it actually worked because I am on 2004.0 already and it suppose to roll to 2004.0. what will indicate that it worked? (except of a unbricked tv

yep stupid me, I typed a wrong IP in widgetlist.xml Instead 192.168.2.110 I typed 192.168.1.110 I geuss I was too tired yesterday... I will try it soon with a correct IP.

Ok so I did bml.restore /dev/bml0/2 /dtv/usb/sda1/bml0_2_dump sync sync bml.restore /dev/bml0/4 /dtv/usb/sda1/bml0_4_dump sync sync bml.restore /dev/bml0/5 /dtv/usb/sda1/bml0_5_dump sync sync all completed successfully. After that I just applied 2004 firmware from the usb and it worked! Now I can ac...

correct me if I am wrong, firmware upgrade can't cause a brick because it just updating some files and not replacing the whole system?
