It is not yet perfect as the autostart is not working but like sectroyer said, it might work 100% at some point.

Re: HT-4500
Again for those interested, the serial connection to SoC is clearly labelled and easy to find. See CN99 in attached pic of the motherboard.

Re: Samsung HT-E4500
You can try the DNS hack to revert to 1011.
However your current few may be too new and the DNS hack might have been blocked.
I don't know if there is another way to downgrade. FFB seems to be for tv only.

Re: HT-4500
To clarify for others, the reason why I was stuck is because firmware downgrade does not affect smarthub. So because my smarthub was updated to 4.5821 I could not download the samygo extensions because it checks that elf files have a valid signature. I updated smarthub again and I am now on 4.6061-5...

Re: Sharing TV recordings with AllShare
I think tv recordings are crypted and can only be decrypted on the tv that recorded them. You can stream other content because they are not crypted. First step is to find a way to decrypt I guess. I think you will find some threads talking about decrypting recording but do not know if they apply to ...
