Done it! With the transmitter plugged in to my phone I was able to play the wav file and opened the hidden sevice menu.
Now my PVR is back on track.

Ok, I've understood that I must use a IR transmitter. But where from can I find the wav file containing the two commands (factory and 3speed) to play with a music player in front of my tv set? I'm not sure what to do... Thanks in advance!

Nothing until now? Mine was updated with 1037 and the PVR function was gone. From the creator of the rutvSamsungcommunicator a new version perhaps?

Hi. I've also lost the PVR function with the 1037 firmware on my eh5300w. After that, the rutvsamsungcommunicator does not the job with Factory & 3xspeed keys. I can't realise a home made transmitter, so I hope the next version of the communicator will do the job.
