Re: LE52A656 bricked

juuso, there are lots of other atmel chips on the board but I can't remember what they are and I'm not opening the tv up again unless I get another board. tbh, I managed to get the wire onto pin 5 ok but think i dropped too much on and stuck 6+7 together. I probably shouldn't have been messing about...

Re: LE52A656 bricked

Ah well, tried it and it didn't work. I'd already ordered an ex-link cable, not sure that'll do anything but I'll give it a bash when it arrives.

Probably need to replace the whole board now, can get one off ebay for ?50 if it comes to it.

Thanks for you help juuso :)

Re: LE52A656 bricked

Can't actually find the eeprom on this. From the service manual I got IC112 1103-000129 IC-EEPROM;24C02,2Kbit,256x8Bit,SOP,8P,5x

But can't see it anywhere. There is a metal shield on the board, could it be under that? Trouble is I don't know how to take the shield off :(

LE52A656 bricked

Hi. I've bricked my tv and posted about it on avforums but this seems to be a better place to get advice. Here's my original post.
