I thought it`s a standalone app... Too bad though.
I understand a computer connected via HDMI can be a solution but I don`t understand why would it be the only solution. Especially since it`s not "ergonomic" or even power efficient.

thank you fo the instructions. it worked on f6500 1114.1.
silly question now, but what can I do next with the root?
eg. can I transfer movies to an attached usb hdd on the TV?
what else?

PS: can the widgets also be extracted? so I can install several from different regions?
