F6300 - Faulty USB ports causing reboot loop(?)
I'm mostly certain the USB ports on my TV have gone faulty. If there's any USB flash drive plugged in the TV reboots every 2 minutes and 30 seconds from when the boot logo first appears. If I try to access a USB drive, it is stuck on the loading spinner and reboots in less than 2 minutes. I've had a...

Re: Smart Hub problem,no application only WebBrowser!!
It happened to me on a TV with older firmware version. All apps are removed except for the web browser. Samsung can remote delete/install apps. I think they are remote wiping apps for TVs on older firmware. OTN on/off doesn't matter. My set that is on the newest firmware still has apps.

Re: [solved] Samsung UE42F5370 freezes and smarthub is not working
The log accumulates over time. It is possible to clear it on each boot. Add something like this to run.sh rm /mnt/sam.log rm /mnt/samygo.log touch /mnt/sam.log touch /mnt/samygo.log My run.sh script looks like this script below. Note: - I don't use samygo root any more so this isn't tested much. - I...

Re: [solved] Samsung UE42F5370 freezes and smarthub is not working
The freezes also happen on my TV when the root USB stick isn't plugged in. It seems that once the TV has been rooted then USB stick must be plugged in at all times. Smart Hub doesn't not work anymore when the root USB stick isn't plugged in. The apps will never launch. Edit: I figured it out. I remo...

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
I haven't rooted since firmware 1119 was released. I tried this version of rooting and it works for my F6300 MST running firmware version 2225. I also have problems with certain USB drives not working well. One newer USB drive works fine. One very old USB drive rarely roots properly. I tried values ...

Do you still need this? I have a UN55F6300. Same model but different screen size.
If so then tell me how to get to the menu you need.

Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series
Which forum did you read about Wireless Display / Miracast improvements? I have 1120 but Miracast support got worse for me since this version. I was using it with my Intel HD 4000 graphics laptop but it was always very finicky. People on the Intel forums figured out that you have to use their old Wi...

Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series
I am new to everything. I am trying the RCremap script first. I followed the RCRemap post which worked. Then I noticed this has the RCremap script included. I used the web interface to start the script but it did not work. I noticed the init script for RCremap is slightly different than in the origi...
