I've read about RCremap and RCremap with CMD support - I'd like to start a certain SmartHub app (Plex) via the remote control or any quicker way than currently.

On my F-Series 6470 I was just able to disable OTN without going to any extended service menu, just the default service menu accessed by

SRS_module is loaded. I didn't enable it though, it was enabled when I installed SamyGO.

I guess so, I'm using an unmodified original SamyGO for my F-Series, the newest I could find. Firmware 1.118.2
