Re: Defeating authuld protection on CI+ devices

The program stops reading hash-block file if any next hash in invalid with 0 zero file length.
Try this

Code: Select all

./chkhash -k 7CED26D8CA2FA0F80BC637E2FF07EC46 -L 0x258 8 bml18.dmp *

Re: Defeating authuld protection on CI+ devices

Try this version: http://www.multiupload.com/MI03O2RSG6 First run chkhash it without any option: it will show possible options. Example of running chkhash with -L option: ./chkhash -k 2b7e151628aed2a6abf7158809cf4f3c -L 0x0000 5 BSP-C6900WWB-1021.2.dir/part_09.cmac.bin BSP-C6900WWB-1021.2.dir/* hash...

Re: Defeating authuld protection on CI+ devices

What is the difference between chkhash tool for C and B series? Do you run it on PC or inside TV?

To search for files whose hashes are present in bml0/3 you may try to run chkhash with -L option.

Re: BD - C6900 Firmware Decrypt

To avoid checksum calculation in the player before flashing, as I see, one needs to patch exeDSP from previous (running) fimrware. To do this, you will need to reflash mtd_exe partition and cmac partition with hashes. I don't think it is a good idea and is absolutely safe for everyone. The objective...

Re: BD - C6900 Firmware Decrypt

Does anybody have firmware packing and encryption tool? It would be a good idea to have a possibility to create a custom firmware which is recognized by the player as a genuine update from Samsung. As I understand, not all components of firmware file are known. There are some 32bit numbers which loo...

Re: Rooted Samsung BD-C6900

WARNING: New 1021.2 firmware contains updated versions of hotplug and usbmount scripts which will disable SamyGO extensions on a USB memory. So, if you need to keep SamyGO extensions working (to access the player through the network and run custom scripts), don't update firmware to the version 1021...

Re: mkey dump tool available

probutus , BSP-C6900WWB-1019.0_02 is indeed kernel image. It is flashed into /dev/bml0/{5 or 7}. The numbering of the files after firmware decryption has nothing to do with the number of the flash partition. Please, take a look at the updated version of decryption utility: there are some comments a...

Re: mkey dump tool available

u-boot is at /dev/bml/2 but I don't know how to access it during boot from the serial port. Press-and-hold '~' key does just stops the system completely. The Part Nr.5 seems to be the disc drive firmware but I'm not sure. Probably the part which can be executed directly is the flash utility for the ...

Re: BD - C6900 Firmware Decrypt

There is a new firmware 1020.4 for BD-C6900 on Samsung site. I did not yet flashed it, just decrypted on the PC and now studying it. Quick note: bootloader, kernel and rootfs are the same as in 1019.0. What is changed: mtd_exe, mtd_appdata and something which is called loader (looks like firmware fo...
