Re: [App] White Raven For Rooted F Series (My Popcorn Time Alternative)

Hi Murdock. Thanks for the info. Thats a shame there is no alternative in JS to resolve the video links. I have my Samsung TV loading all my favourite TV widgets from USB without rooting, so it would have been great to have WhiteRaven doing the same. I wonder how BBC, ITV, iView etc do it without na...

Re: [App] White Raven For Rooted F Series (My Popcorn Time Alternative)

FYI - the app accepted my API key, loaded movie coverart and showed the different web domains to stream from (i.e. openload.co, vidto.me etc). For whatever reason though, I could not get a single video to start. API already limited maybe?

Re: [App] White Raven For Rooted F Series (My Popcorn Time Alternative)

Nonroot version technically not possible? Firstly, thanks to @Murdoch for this app. A great first version. I hope you continue developing this. In response to the above question,I sideload my apps by simply copying them to USB and plugging that into the TV. My F-Series is NOT rooted. I simply copie...

Re: Loading Widget without SamyGo?

Unless I am mistaken, it appears the TV prevents widgets being loaded from a local network. I actually didn't know one could get apps through USB as well. I've been using the local webserver method so far. It's strange you couldn't get it to work. Are you sure your widgetlist.xml is in the right fo...

Re: BBC iPlayer - Showing Website Only

Okay. Loaded it onto a USB and it worked. That said, it completed crashed my TV when I first opened it. Not even the power button on the remote would reset it so I have to unplug the TV from the mains - ouch. Anyways, after a reboot, it loaded fine so I watched Match of the Day last night. Happy cha...

Re: BBC iPlayer - Showing Website Only

You can also try v2.02662 with update date 201406. Hmm. Doesn't seem available (http://d3mjsomixevyw7.cloudfront.net/files/widget/201406/11101301701/2.02662/widget/11101301701_2.02662.zip), but with such a small version update number, I'm happy with the version I linked above. Another thing, I see ...

Re: BBC iPlayer - Showing Website Only

@arris69 - any chance you can post BBC iPlayer v2.0266 or above for us H-Series owners? Scratch my comment above. Thanks to @M11 supplying the H-Series widget version number, I've modified the URL of an earlier version and found it located at http://d3mjsomixevyw7.cloudfront.net/files/widget/201404...
