Skype support will end on 02th June 2016

I got a message today on my TV that Skype will stopp supporting Smart TV's on the 2th of June this year.

So i guess its time to get the stable Skype root as long as skype is still available

is it possible to activate by software patch the SCART output when playing movies with the built-in movie player? The output is on when using the internal tuner, but when switching to movieplayer it is switched off. Of course no chance, if it is a hardware design limitation. I investigated about th...

There is one Thing i'm missing at the Topic.
After successfully rooted, do i have to stay on wifi Connection?
Wifi connection is very bad on TV's current location and my beloved Netflix is driving me crazy right now :o)

i know, and i have never talked about an specific firmware, i only wanted to know if it is possibleto block the updateservers by host file editing ;)

Isn't there a host file on the TV where we can block the updateservers after rooting?
