It however required a few minor tweaks to work for me on an F-Non-MST TV (1122 -> new root) and a fairly recent linux. 1) netcat commands did not terminate made the script hung like forever: Adding a -q 1 option to ensure it terminates a sec after EOF fixed it for me (..nc -q ...
