The firmware is based on linux, why doesn't anybody ported the SmartHub 2013 back to older models like the D-series.

Can someone port the smartHub 2013 to the D-series??

Or give more (technicall) information on the smart hub.

Is it possible to extract the New smarthub gui and the new allshare play from the firmware of the 55ES8000 and implement that in the firmware from a UE55D8000???

Thanks for the reactions. I took a look at them en its defently a beginning, but perfect would be that the tv sees it as a tv signal. It must be possible, i think the software is linux, and the signal comes through a lan cable, only the software has to see the signal as tv signal... Or has a settopb...
