Could I workaround a broken screen and get some use?

Hello Someone's selling a UE40H5500 cheap with a broken screen, literally nothing can be seen. Could I do something with this such as the PVR function and other stuff. If I could do it all via ssh/telnet that would be perfect, but I'm afraid that would't be possible before it's rooted/customized so ...

Still don't want to change something and brick it. Well I will leave it for now and I will keep looking for any solution
Why don't you just post screenshot of all the pages you have been able to browse in the dev menu?

Re: [PC] SMPVRDLDE - An OTF Decrypt PVR Downloader - D Series

Came across this app only now... The 1440p-based layout is a BIG MINUS... most people DO NOT have 1440p monitors! 1080 is the common resolution. The GUI goes off screen and it's impossible to resize :( The program is provided as is according to my likeness and needs. Making the GUI resizable would ...

Re: Need help

Perhaps it's under some other name, you'll have to dig around a bit, but be careful in that because you can easily change something and it'll stick and if you forget to put it back before turning off the tv it can be bad.

Re: Samygo widget

I still have a D-Series, just doing PVR maintenance, but it's UE40D6750 - and I kinda forgot if it's MIPS or something else.

Well yeah if anyone at this point has some your welcome, but I made it clear that it's something I had to do for myself primarly and it was all worth it, even if no such community would exist.

[PC] SMPVRDLDE - An OTF Decrypt PVR Downloader - D Series

Hello So I was looking to get better at programming C# and other things and I a great opportunity came up that I would just rewrite the whole Destroi program from scratch myself. This may seem to be late to the party, but actually not everyone replaces their electronics every 2-3 years so one of the...

Re: Updating components of SamyGO widget?

The disconnect is still happening when uploading to another HDD with Filezilla, but it's random, it may work fine for 2 hours, then it'll throw out 2-3 times in 1 hour. it says "ECONNECTIONCLOSED", it's a bit scarse on details even with INFO debug logging, I am thankfully able to simply re...

Re: Updating components of SamyGO widget?

Not kinda finalized yet, I probably have to upload it with source anyway since it's using some Destroi components, but I'll need to prepare that. Now some people would say D series are old, but not everyone's hopping on the idea of replacing all the electronics every 3 years, so I figured this D ser...

Re: Updating components of SamyGO widget?

I noticed myself that 1h disconnect (on E series, with brand new busybox!), not sure any fix has ever been found. Not sure it has any effect, I've never been patient enough to wait another hour :D 8MB/s is expected since TV has got only (weak) 100Mb ethernet. For both reasons, better focus on offli...
