Re: Can't get into Advanced Service Manu

Above a certain firmware version you can no longer alter the greyed out options in the service menu. You have to downgrade the firmware version to re-enable the options. Search the SamyGO website to find information on downgrading.

BBC Red Button functionality on UE46D6500

I live in the Netherlands and receive the various BBC channels on my UE46D6500 by satellite. I would like to have the BBC "red button" functionality working, but sofar I have not been able to get it going. I have installed the latest firmware (T-GASDEUC-1018.0). With the "ruSamsungTVC...

Re: BBC-HD and BBC1 HD on satellite

Problem solved! I did try something which I probably should have done in the first place. I switched the antenna cables from my HTPC and the Samsung TV and bingo, the missing channels suddenly appeared! I have no explanation. The dish is a Technisat Multytenne Twin and in principle there should be n...

Re: BBC-HD and BBC1 HD on satellite

That is very strange. I think I do exactly what you do and do not find any channels. However, I must say that I don't know what you mean by editing with the red key. I don't have a red key. When I click on "new transponder" I immediately get the fill-in screen where I enter the data 10847,...

Re: BBC-HD and BBC1 HD on satellite

Thanks again for your suggestions. I tried to send an email to Mr Rozeslaniec but unfortunately it bounced, user unknown. However, since my TV is a more recent one, there might be a different name in the xml-file in my TV. I would like to check, but being a newcomer in the Samsung world I have no id...

Re: BBC-HD and BBC1 HD on satellite

Thanks for your reply. I am aware of the details for this transponder and I did enter them manually. However, I don't know about the C-series, but the D-series does not let you enter a value for FEC and exactly that is very important for this particular transponder. The FEC recently changed to a val...

BBC-HD and BBC1 HD on satellite

A few days ago I bought a UE46D6500 with satellite tuner. I live in the Netherlands and have a satellite dish which receives four satellites, among which Astra 2 on 28.2E. This satellite has all UK Freesat channels. I receive most of these quite alright, except for BBC-HD and BBC1-HD on the 10847 tr...
