Hi guys, long time no see :) Since sony took the 52LX900 review TV, I have bought myself a Philips 42PFL4007 smart tv. It has 3.5mm service port. So, I think it is a good place to start with. Also here is the latest FW. Can you guys run some tools on it? http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpi...

Re: Decrypting Bravia Firmware BIN File

Tha helped a lot. I will give the credit to you and erdem when the project kicks off :) As you and erdem say, the port I have found is not useful. Because it is not the debug port. PDF says: UART0 _TXD/RXD UART1 _TXD/RXD So, those ports are DTT Log and PQC Log beacuse they are named UART0 and UART1 ...

Re: Decrypting Bravia Firmware BIN File

It is 10 port, RS232 is 9 port. Could you please take a look at the port and tell me if it is out of the standard or not? Page 82, right side, search for CN2403 in PDF. http://www.scribd.com/doc/69020198/Service-Repair-Manual-for-Sony-KDL-52LX900 Also right under that schematics there is Right Angle...

Re: Admin Upgraded Turkey's ADSL Line Speeds by ~%10

I pay 29 TRY ($20) for 8 mbit with 25 GB limit. But some months I download over 250 GBs with the same price and they don't slow down my speed :)

Re: Decrypting Bravia Firmware BIN File

You may be right. There is also chance for buying nand flasher, removing them, flashing and then soldering back.

BTW, SPI flasher is used for XBOX360 JTAG flashing.

BTW, I have bought the serice manuals :) 40 $ but it's woth :)

Finally I think I got someting:

UART0_TXD/RXD
UART1_TXD/RXD

DEBUG I/F

Re: Decrypting Bravia Firmware BIN File

Actually JTAG can revive your board and I have the SPI flasher that will probably work for you if the board have JTAG port. On the other hand, Widgets must be sent to Yahoo and then signed etc etc... I don't think the TV is goig to accept widgets right away... BTW, if you can, please investigate the...
