I have returned the TV and now have bought the exact same as sibren the UE43MU6179. :D
And I can confirm it works great on this model, so the UE40MU6120 does not work with this method!

I have followed everything sibren has written but it does not work on my UE40MU6120! When I get the switching colours I turn off the tv in stanby and then power it on again with info - menu - mute - power, all I get is the switching colours again but when I then use the 'FACTORY+3SPEED.inv.wav' agai...

I do have the Region option which is set to: PANEURO but there is no EU_Benelux option or anything like it.

I have tried it, but I can't get past the flashing colours!
Everytime I use info - menu - mute - power but I don't get the service menu on screen.

Great thank you for this! I have only one problem on my MU6120. When the colors are flashing and I turn of the TV and then try the info - menu - mute - power again it doesn't work, how to resolve this? I tried a few remotes and most of the times it doesn't even go in the service menu the first time ...
