Thanks, I remember now from doing the same PVR thing about 10 years ago.
I don't have an Android phone or programable remote, so I will have to see if I can use ruSTVC on it. Probably not as it is new model, but I will be back in a week or so and let you know.

I can't recall a 'Local Set' option, but are you referring to 'Region' or similar, just below 'Language'?

Yep, tried many formats, and had the TV format the device as well. It will read and play items on the USB with no issue.

I am trying to activate the PVR function, which does not come as standard on this model. There is no record button on the remote, and there is also no timeshift available.
