Re: Where is find old (or good) LE40B650 firmware

I have T-CHL7DEUC 2004.1 and 2005.0 lying around.
Would that be OK?

Re: executing custom script on CI+

Thanks juuso, that would be great.
Possibly I can create my own (haven't tried the memory patching yet), but as you know, for backup, I would like to have the installation file as well.
So my question still stands, although I really welcome the dumps.

Re: executing custom script on CI+

Hi, a bit off topic, my question:

Code: Select all

[Version_file : SWU_T-CHL5CIPDEUC_002008_I02_EK000DK000_100115
langerhans, apparently you have the same firmware as I have in my UE40B6000. Do you happen to have the original installation file of it?
Would like to have a copy.

Re: Just a thought: BD-live trojan possible?

Steps taken: Got the BD-J development kit: JavaME SDK (windows only  ). Got the daemon (telnetd2, from sourceforge, tested as stand alone, works). Got the burner (still packed). ToDo: Implement a shell, not that many options on the web. jShell looks like a fair option, far from complete, but ha...

Re: Streaming HDTV from DVB-S2 USB tuner?

Sounds like a good option, however, eligibility (for me) depends on the size of the device. The tuner I work with now (TBS5980) is very small and can be tucked away nicely behind my TV. A big device won't fit. Downside is a LOT of hassle to get the equipment going. As you may have noticed, I'm not i...

Re: Just a thought: BD-live trojan possible?

Apparently, BD-J, rather than BD-Live may already do the trick. I just got the java TV sdk up and running, it basically spits out BD-J layouts which can then be burned on BluRay, when configured properly. Now it's time to find out how to merge a working telnet daemon into that framework. I'm not ver...

Re: USB Ethernet Dongle Driver Compiling

Hi frmys, My B6000 has firmware T-CHL5CIPDEUC. It's a CI+ device. Before I can test anything, this particular firmware needs to be rooted properly. So far, that has not been successful. So, I can't help you there, I'm afraid. Not that I'm not interested in rooting this machine, but just now it's not...

Re: Just a thought: BD-live trojan possible?

@Denny: I'm not sure how BD-live works either, but I can imagine that the verification is done on the content of the disc, with keys stored on that disc. Content provides will want to check that _their_ media is used to access the extras from their website and not just any Bluray disc, and I don't t...
