I think you have to set proper Type value. Try to chose one by one. I can`t tell you which chip is eeprom chip, write down all 8-pin chips and look for ATMEL or smth similar.

Brick during firmware upgrade process makes damage on oneNAND, it is like HDD on your PC. With damaged partitions/firmware your TV can`t boot properly. Thus there is nothing to do with eeprom here. Only way is to replace mainboard. Tou can do this at home. Nothing special. No other easy or cheaper ways.

Big success rate as the difference is only last letter. Sure i cant give 100 percent, but i bet it will work out of the box.

No no no. You can`t use same commands for trident. You need modify. When you get access to command line, write here, i need some output to some commands.

You do not need SoC eeprom. You need re-flash ISP micom firmware. We had some reports about how to do that via VGA port with help of ISP programmers. You have just write down what firmware number is labeled on Micom chip.

No. You can not. Normaly tv won't accept firmware for different region. It will say no software update found on your usb.
