PVR with USB pen drive?

Hi there, is anyone of you using PVR / time shift with a pen drive? I'd like to use a pen drive instead of a hard disk, but all usb pen drives are too slow. It would be great if someone could recommend a device that works. I tried the following ones, which are not working - Transcend JetFlash 600 16...

Re: PVR Timeshift: playback failed/Wiedergabe fehlgeschlagen

Is there some read/write speed that the drive must support?
I am using a hard disk drive, not a usb pen.

Is there a list of usb pen drives that are tested and confirmed to work?

Re: Enable PVR on D5500

This works great with D5700! Thanks very much for this great tutorial. Time shift works as simple as it could be. Press Pause to freeze the movie, press play to continue. Great feature that makes the TV much better. Tested with UE37D5700 - please add this model to the Wiki (I don't have editor right...
