Re: Samsung BD-D6900 (rooted, Serial port:ok,TDM:ok)

I didn't mean by pushing the buttons - simply go to the menu of the device - settings - ... restore to factory defaults is there somewhere
this way worked for me few years ago, it should still be working

Re: Samsung BD-D6900 (rooted, Serial port:ok,TDM:ok)

restore factory defaults in menu - it should revert firmware to stock version
also I recommend you to note to the service, that you want them not to update the firmware if they are gonna repair your unit,
otherwise you end up not being able to install samygo anymore :(

BD-D8900

Hi all, unfortunately my Samsung BD-D8900 was defect and it came repaired with upgraded firmware to latest version (1016), so I can't install SamyGO anymore :(
Is there a way to revert the firmware to old version 1007 which is supported by SamyGO? I got the USB original 1007 version ready...

Re: BD-D6900 DTS problem

unfortunately from time to time I have the same problem with mkv files
sometimes even simple remux of the mkv file helps
but sometimes not and I have to convert dts sound to dd(ac3)
bitrate of the dts really doesn't matter

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)

I wonder if there is some progress in enabling SamyGO on new E series blu-ray players? (BD-E8x00)
Or are we stuck at D series? :(
Thanks for any info.

Re: Samsung BD-D6900

well unfortunately I am not sure about that - I didn't record anything before installing SamyGO .... so can't help you with that one.
But if you have linux, you can always copy the recordings there and decrypt them...

Re: Samsung BD-D6900

Hi I am using same BD player as you and I installed SamyGo on it using this guide: http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4244 You can always revert original firmware by going for the choice "restore factory defaults" in the BD menu. Can't say more about "new" blu-rays, I haven't had any proble...
