Re: Readahead for HD Video Playback CIFS/NFS/FTP over Wi-Fi

Hi, I've tried your tools on my TV (the one from the sig.) because this is the biggest issue that I have, the lag with the full HD movies. Unfortunately, it works a bit worse than my current setup, which is samba share on NAS and the smb/cifs client from the SamyGo extensions on TV. The interruption...

Re: EXT3 partitions support

Hey,

I've just mounted my EXT2 formatted HDD! Works very nice!
I used the re-written usb_mount and the ext2.ko module.

Thank you very much!

Re: EXT3 partitions support

Thank you for your answers. My USB HDD is EXT2 formatted. So now I have to either: 1. convert HDD to EXT3 and manually modify /dtv/usb/log, editing the entry already created by the TV when I inserted the HDD, replacing ext3 to vfat; will this modification be permanent? 2. convert the HDD to EXT3 and...

Re: EXT3 partitions support

Hi,

I'm very interested to make it possible to use ext2 or ext3 formated USB hard drive with my LE37B653T5P.
Where can I find the ext2 module?
Did I understand correctly that ext3 is mounted but cannot be used for playing media files and ext2 is not supported at all by original firmware?

Thank you.

Re: Whoohoo: with new FW, Telnet working, can copy Ext to Games

Hi, A just installed SamyGo extensions and gues what, IT WORKS! MediaTomb was detected an I could play some films, no subtitles though. I will try with samba. I assumed that it wouldn't work if telnet enabler didn't work. But I also connected on ssh and it works OK. I just want to say BIG THANK YOU ...

Re: Whoohoo: with new FW, Telnet working, can copy Ext to Games

Hi,

I have the same model/firmware as kotydz. I attached a picture. I too couldn't access telnet, using wired or wireless connection, USB1 or 2 port.
So I understand there's no solution for telnet/patching yet?

Thanks.
