Re: [App] Removing Cinavia on E/F Bluray players

Sorry but why would samsung have 2 different internal players? I thought cinavia kicks in during splitting of the audio track into its various channels which to my knowledge happens in exeDSP - which apparently in my firmware doesn't even have cinavia?! The only other thing that is running when Plex...

Re: [App] Removing Cinavia on E/F Bluray players

Hi All, I have an E5500 on FW 1011 and I haven't had any issues with Cinavia at all. I recently played a file using the Plex app, now I know that they technically use the internal player and are therefore bound by its limitations. Now someone above said that Plex may have cinavia in itself, but that...

Re: [App] Rooting E and F Bluray

Right, so apparently, when the HT-F5500 is running, and I don't open an App, then it doesnt reboot. I also noticed that it seems to break mostly when it adds the virtual USB etc... I was wondering if all I need is the cinavia patch, can I choose not to run run1.sh? Is that a viable option? Also if s...

Re: [App] Rooting E and F Bluray

Oh no the root seems to work (I'm on 1019 apparently).
I cannot get into any extended menu, and my HT-F5500 randomly reboots.

Re: [App] Rooting E and F Bluray

I have exactly the same problem JeppeTh, on top my HT-F5500 seems to just be restarting every now and then... whenever it feels like it. I'm not sure why it would do that...

Finding Exlink on HT-D5500

Hi All, I'd like to find the exlink on my HT-D5500. I know its not an easy task, but I'd like to try anyway. The only problem is, that this particular HT-D5500, doesn't boot anymore, so I don't think I'll be able to find the right pins using an oscillator and pressing INFO on my remote. And I also c...

HT-D5500 Seems Bricked

Hi All, So I was trying out a different exeDSP for my HT-D5500. I set my user.sh to go to user.sh.safe in case the new exeDSP didn't work. I booted into the HT, and it wouldn't boot, so I restarted the machine, only to find it now gets stuck at the logo screen... I have tried putting a USB in with a...

Re: HT-D5550 brick (exeDSP)

Hey, This might be a stupid question, but on your code you move your user.sh file to user.sh.safe which means that your modified exedsp should not start after a restart anyway. I have the same model, and it does sometimes lock up during starts, have you tried a cold reset? I.e. Unplug the whole thin...

Re: HT-D5500 Firmware Downgrade Help

Hi Guys, sorry nobody has answered your calls. There is a couple of things that I would like both of you to try. 1. Set DNS only on HT - leave router as it is 2. turn off the HT - unplug it completely 3. wait a little 4. start HT, check if internet settings are set properly (i.e. DNS is there) do no...
