Running Process During Playback

Hi All,

I noticed the other day that when my playback crashes on one of the smart hub applications that I have a process is running using up 100% of the CPU.
The process in question only said [spi_watchdog_th].

Any idea what that could be?

Thanks

mkv audio issue

Dear All, The system I am talking about here is a D series Home Theatre system (HT-D5500), and although there is a dedicated BluRay discussion forum, I think this question is going to be quicker answered by the D Series TV people as the systems are not unsimilar. I hope that someone may have an idea...

HTD5500 mkv audio issue

Dear All, I was wondering whether other people have had a similar issue with their HT-D5500 (or similar). So what happens is this: I have an mkv file with AC3 or DTS audio and it plays fine for about 1-2 min. Then suddenly audio stops working. When I seek through the file you can hear a small blib o...

Updating FFMPEG

Hey all,

I was wondering whether anybody knows whether it is possible to update the ffmpeg on a D series BluRay player (HT D5500) to the newest version as some of my files stop playing audio in the middle.

Thanks

Re: BD-E5500 firmware downgrade

Hi everyone, I know its hard but dont put cinavia as an issue! What you should say is that you would like to revert to an earlier firmware as you believe the software was better implemented there. The more Cin*a*ia talk is here - the more likely it is that the site is going to be removed. So please ...

Re: Downgrade an BD-D5300, he will allways update!

you should be able to go to software update and on the bottom you should have a flag that says download new firmware in the background (or something like that) - put that to OFF. However this may still ask you to download new firmware once in a while. There is a way of turning it off completely in t...

Re: BD-D5500-XP help

Hey guys, right so the downgrade is only to remove a particular piece of software included in the newer firmware versions that disables the sound of certain video files during playback - also called cinavia. On the BD 5500 there are no other significant improvements currently present. I.e. you cant ...

Re: samygo for HT-D5100K (BD-HP5800 D series)

Hi Cpaez, Once you downgrade, you then have to install the samygo patch follow the D series wiki for that. You should be able to then load up a virtual USB drive and link samba shares or NFS shares to that. (Basically you can get around DLNA which is great). There may also be other improvements in t...
