Re: Wireless Headphones

Hmm, the same menu on my TV. I was looking for some .so or .ko files, like on desktop.
Now I've searched for the "a2dp" string in the ROM dump - it is present in file \mtd_exe\BT_LIB\bsa_server. So, you are right - bt audio support is possible.

Re: Wireless Headphones

From what I see - TV (at least mine) does not contain BT audio modules at all. And DA-E550 supports only samsung phones/tablets, not TVs.

Re: A question on rooting ES

Had some time to play. Bad thing is that ext2/3/4 filesystem is no longer supported. And symlinks on USB are blocked - I've tried to create a link to "/" on XFS-formatted USB and was unable to read from it. But good info is that "FilePlugin.Copy" is still working. At least the following code: in htm...

Re: A question on rooting ES

Finally I've bought a TV, UE32ES6727. Connected it to WiFi and found that it loads a file: http://vd.emp.prd.s3.amazonaws.com/emp/empinfo_X10P_0.970.xml EMP == External Module Process. This XML contains info on lots of binary modules - browser, skype, etc. And several of them are not signed: X10P_0....

Re: A question on rooting ES

I'm considering to get UE32ES6727, as it it the only DVB-T2 32" TV with white color that is available in my city. It is T-MST10PDEUC, seems that it is mali-based (.version contains ""X10P 0071" KERNEL MODULE VERSION : "0064.0716, DTV, X10P, release, DEU_BRANCH", and according to rc.local if it conta...

A question on rooting ES

As I'll buy an ES-based TV only on weekend, I can't check this idea myself. Idea is simple. We have the following lines in rc.local: if [ -f /mtd_rwarea/start.sh ]; then /mtd_rwarea/start.sh else cd /mtd_exe/ ./exeDSP fi So to run our own code - we should make an /mtd_rwarea/start.sh file with such ...

How to decrypt .CMK and .SMK files

As I'm planning to buy a small TV for placing in a bedroom (probably UE32ES6727) - I've started to study recent firmware for new possibilities. Seems that noone have published keys to decrypt CMK files yet, so here are they: openssl.exe aes-128-cbc -d -K B1D5F122E75D757C79F48886D42F8E1A -in index.ht...

Re: [TDT] A test: Working X server!

A simple question: If I'm not mistaken, T-TDT and T-MSX firmware are both for MIPS architecture. Trident and MStar are tuners, or what? Trident and MStar provide a complete platform for TV sets. Including CPU and peripheral devices like audio, USB host and video overlay. They differ not only in TV ...

[TDT] A test: Working X server!

Xfree86 server ported to Trident-based C5xx TV sets can be downloaded from here: http://www.multiupload.com/MNS91YKJUS Installation: extract archive to the root of your USB flash disk, insert to TV and run runonce.sh on TV. This would make all necessary initializations. To run X server - execute /mn...

Re: exeDSP reverse engeneering

we bypass all from tuner-level to an virtual-tuner that sitting between him and the os-level. in case we use an open-source-tuner-driver to generate an v-tuner we can use the digital-signal from tuner for two tasks. Answer is very simple. There is no TV-Tuner driver in Linux OS or exeDSP. All TV de...
