Re: [FW 0000] T-MST12DEUC and T-FXPDEUC

I want do downgrade the firmware on a UE40F6260. Is there a consensus on which firmware version is the best one to get? I still would like to be able to use some of the major apps from Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or Zattoo. Do they run with every firmware version or is there some kind of "base level" I sh...

Warning: No longer possible to change country code of SmartHub

I used to be able to switch the country code on my parent's F6270 with the usual button combination (Mute > Return > Vol+ > Ch+ > Mute) mentioned in the wiki. However, it seems Samsung has disabled this with a recent firmware update. :o The RETURN Button now simple quits out of the SmartHub setup pr...

Re: [FW 0000] T-MST14DEUC, T-GFPDEUC, T-GFP8DEUC

Anyone been able to successfully downgrade a H6270 running firmware T-MST14DEUC_2860-2 to the 0000.0 one? Yes install first firmware 0000 and then any firmware lower than 2790. For skype root you will need less then 2130 I'm torn between using firmware version 2130 or 2781. Besides the new-look Smar...

I've always had OTN Support set to OFF. Didn't know you should also set OTA Support to OFF. Is that a new requirement, as it isn't mentioned in the wiki?!

SmartHub crashes entire tv - can't access main menu anymore

My Samsung UE50H6270 suddenly crashes and restarts whenever the SmartHub is brought up on the screen. I didn't change anything - yesterday everything worked fine and this morning it just won't work anymore. I've already tried to reset the SmartHub itself. But the problem is, that the SmartHub now au...

Re: [!!!] Rooting LATEST H firmware

That's a point. My though was that using an DNS proxy was less difficult to setup for someone who's not that familiar with how routers work. But then again, everyone who's found his way to this board can be expected to be somewhat fit at doing stuff like that anyway...

Re: [!!!] Rooting LATEST H firmware

Sorry, but you don't seem to understand how this works: The DNS proxy is a server on the internet which resolves the url "samsungotn.net" to the corresponding ip address. We could setup such a DNS server ourselves for the SamyGo community and simply block every request that goes to the Samsung URL o...
