Re: PVR on C-Series TV with Firmware 3009.2!

I would just set PVR to enabled. Changing model numbers gives me a bad feeling.

Re: T-VALDEUC 3011.0

I've been using 3005.1 for ever it seems, and I thought I would try upgrading since I have some time now to deal with it. I got the TV with 1005.0 and upgraded to 3005.1 so that I could root it with the widget hack. That worked very well, although I have problems with the firmware freezing while pla...

Re: PVR Disable Encryption C/D Serie.

Denny, I don't completely follow you, but I take it you're trying to modify the structure that 4b263c: e5993394 ldr r3, [r9, #916] ; 0x394 refers to. That seems like a good idea so more power to you. I don't really have the tools or expertise to examine the code in as much detail as I'd like to. I j...

Re: PVR Disable Encryption C/D Serie.

I'm sure there are better places for a patch. I didn't do extensive analysis, when I was reading through the strings 'Set CpProtected flag to true for DRM' caught my attention, so I looked there. What bugged me most is that I have other recorders which record without DRM, so why should it be OK for ...

Re: PVR Disable Encryption C/D Serie.

I thought the policy was that disabling DRM was not allowed. But since you've changed your mind, I'll show a different way to disable DRM that I've been using. There is a flag called CpProtected in exeDSP, and if it is not set, there is no DRM. I think there must be some way to clear the flag withou...

Disable XFS filesystem check

When entering Media Play, the device is always reset to the PVR device (with the XFS filesystem). This means that every time you press Media Play, you have to change the device to the one with the mounts. A very handy mod would be to make it so that clicking on Videos would work when the current fil...

Re: H.264 Audio/Video Sync Issues

Here is a related thought: Maybe it doesn't matter what type of container you "copy streams" to. If it's the copy process that fixes the container, possibly you could copy to an mp4 or mkv instead of an avi, and have it work.

Re: 50c6500 DLNA Question

In general DLNA is more complicated and inferior to cifs/smb. Since your router has samba, put SamyGo extensions on your TV, and you're good to go.

Re: Injecting modules into exeDSP

Hi, I've been experimenting with injectso. And, my test module works to a degree. I am having a few difficulties, though. I've modified the example module from injectso. #include <stdio.h> #include <unistd.h> #define LOG_FILE "/dtv/module.log" int Highjack(int *r0, int *r1, int *r2) { FILE* fp = fop...
