Re: gdb breakpoint

Thank you for this libthread_db.so version; however, it is not useful for me. When I use it, the tv becomes unresponsive to the remote control. It's as if exeDSP is suspended; I can push any button, the light on the tv blinks, but nothing happens until I exit gdb. When I exit gdb, the buttons I pres...

Re: gdb breakpoint

Forget gdb! injectso works! http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=862 :P This is what I'm really after anyway. I plan to make a module that will let me insert calls to my own functions into exeDSP. This way I can printf registers, or whatever I want. All threads have their own entries in /proc/...

Re: Video Thumbnails in Media Play

I bet the video covers are the same thing as the chapter frame grabs. I don't see any other thumbnail files. Also, when I delete the mta files, my video covers disappear until they are recreated when the file is played again.

Cheers, Peter

Re: Video Thumbnails in Media Play

Here's a thumbnail my C670 made: http://www.ulozto.net/9531408/icon-7z
I can't tell from this what the resolution is, but if 110x65 is ok, what about 220x130?

Re: gdb breakpoint

Thanks so much for your answer. No. More likely, there are 200-300 exeDSP threads (or so). I thought there was one thread due to: (gdb) info threads * 1 process 61 0x42a43158 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.4 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 Of course, if gdb is not working it may not be listing the right...

Re: How to read samsung pvr files on pc?

Do breakpoints in gdb work? I've put breakpoints on some printfs, and I see the output from the printf, but exeDSP doesn't stop.

Re: gdb breakpoint

There is only one thread. However, I would expect that if there were more, any one of the threads hitting the breakpoint would stop the process or at least that thread.

Upgrade firmware every day!

Yesterday while I was watching TV the simple way (with the TV's tuner), a box popped up and said version 3009 of the firmware is available, press ok to upgrade, if you do not, you will be reminded every day. This is of course ridiculously rude. I could imagine my 5 year old seeing the box, and press...
