Re: Unattended operation of TV during night (FW upgrade?).

This issue seems to affact maybe all Samsung TVs! In my opinion the most people do not notice it. Even I noticed it only because of the click (relais) and the bright Samsung LED on the front. I already called Samsung and a technician called me back and checked online the TV. He did not find anything...

Strange! In other threads people do not report about OTN issues with root.

Re: Firmware "Update"? 1124.0 -> 1125.1 -> 1124.0 -> 1123.3

I ask, because in a thread root does not work anymore for users with disabled OTN before! upgrading (to 1125 and 1126).

Do you have to reenable OTN before! the upgrade to 1128.1 for rooting?

Nevertheless, thank you Grafhkgb for the information to FW 1128.1!
-> Was OTN set to OFF before you updated?

Some day Samsung will block root again! So information on the latest firmware are worth to know.

Re: TV power on itself after 2 hours

@steef84

You advice to re-eabling OTN, remove USB and an update menu appears? - Where does the menu appear? Right in the advanced service menu after unplugging my root USB stick?

In your personal info you write about your downgraded F-series TV?! Is downgrading possible now?

Thank you!

Firmware "Update"? 1124.0 -> 1125.1 -> 1124.0 -> 1123.3

Samsung released 1124.1 in April, later 1125.1 in May. Because of hbb-TV issues Samsung replaced 1125.1 with 1124.0 again. -> Was there a downgrade possible with this (new?) version? I unzipped it and it seems to be the same "old" 1124.0. Now, Samsung "updated" the firmware to 11...

Re: Samsung F8090 - starts itself in the evening

I already tried OTA Off - still the same problem!

But maybe Samsung has disabled the OTN ON/OFF option in 1125.1 + 1126.1 (accoding to another topic) because of these strange starts?

Re: Samsung F8090 - starts itself in the evening

@Hagi10
Are there any news from Korea? Or did you find another solution?

@gjstroom
Have you tested 1125.1? In Germany this version was cancelled because of issues with Hbb-TV.

My solution is to switch the power always off with an remote power switch.

Re: Samsung F8090 - starts itself in the evening

Welcome gjstroom.
Well, so far there are no news from Korea. But I have not tested (SamyGo proof) 1125 yet!
Unfortunately Samsung does not give any information about firmware changes.
