Re: USB IR device

Ok, I just placed an order for this:

The next step is to make it work with my Linux box.

Re: USB IR device

Ok, how about instead of 2) we just make standalone daemon that poll's the IR device and when it receives (*) the remote controls, it would do the detection of the vol+/- and then send out corresponding amplifier IR sequences. (*) The IR device should be positioned so that it can receive the command...

Re: Turning down the volume on TV commercials

Maybe it's easier to recognize the audio stream for channel's own "commercial break theme". It should be doable with 600Mhz ARM. The question is how to identify the break reliably enough.

Re: [HELP!] UE55B7000 Bricked! - Boot Loop after SamyGO FW flash

Hello, is there any chance to inspect the bootloader of a working device? I mean if it could be compared to other bootloaders (of non-CI+ device) and figure out that way what are the proper keys. I have UExxB7070, but its firmware is T-CHU7DEUC 3000.G and I thought my device was CI+, but I guess it'...

USB IR device

Hello. Would it be possible to attach USB IR device to the TV and control it by software? Is there a possibility to compile IR modules for that kernel? My ultimate goal would be to use that IR device to send out IR commands to my amplifier, so when I press vol +/- from TV's remote control, they woul...

Re: Remote Control Signal Over Lan?

Hello, I have UE40B7070, but I'm not able to control it with UPnP. DLNA works (Mediatomb from my Linux box) so some UPnP traffic is definitely working. What UPnP browser you were using? I tried also the TV's http server, but got no pages with any information. Where are the httpd docs in the TV? Well...

Re: Volume control for external audio output

Yes, valid reasons. My own solution is to build IR interpreter, a simple micro controller device with 2 IR leds, one for receiving remote control signals, one for sending signals out. The micro controller is responsible for detecting Samsung remote control's Vol+/- and sending them out as my AV ampl...

Volume control for external audio output

Hello. At least my TV (UE40B7070) is not able to adjust the external audio output volume (when I choose the audio to be played through external speakers from audio menu, I think it's the same for most of the Sammys) This is a big disappointment for me, and I've asked from CNET Samsung forums if Sams...

Re: Looping of Movies

Hello, maybe you could look at the mediatomb project and ask them to add looping.

Re: Prepared firmwares

Still I would't recommend using those, sorry. At least the patching approach lets you to check what kind of modifications are being made.

Maybe you could share the modifications with the SamyGo guys?
