Re: Preset volume level for tv input (hdmi1, hdmi2..)!

Hello, what is the easy way of setting the volume? The best would be a simple command line program (run from the TV) to set the vol. This way I could get TV vol set at start to some predefined value.

Re: [advanced programming] please find an error in source code

Hello, I remember having similar problems when I first started fiddling around with the injection code (around the time when injectso was introduced on the forum). I think I never understood why.

Re: enabling 3D on B8090?

I have one USB IR emitter which does not need kernel drivers, so it might be possible someday, if we just figure out what to send.

Re: Install Apps on Pre-2010 TVs?

Hello, this does not seem to be valid xml:

the & causes problems, maybe links should be put like this
mms://81.89.49.210/MUSICBOX?.wma&MSWMExt=.asf
or just use a simple text file

Re: Bricked TV UE32B7020

Are you sure that the SecureCRT is not trying ssh or some other encrypted connection method? Maybe if you try with program that handles only plain text unsecure connections?

Re: USB GPT compatibility

Hello, I have 8GT usb stick and the TV sees it all.

For formatting it properly, if you don't have Linux, try GParted Live CD for instance.

Re: Streaming HDTV from DVB-S2 USB tuner?

What? Are you crazy? :)

Getting the USB thing to work might need additional kernel modules and I think it's going to be hard to get the actual picture to the TV. If we knew more about the hardware, maybe the HDTV stream from USB could be sent to the proper hardware.

Re: HDMI EDID hack to allow 5.1 passthrough

Hello, what's the point? If the EDID info is stored on the chip ROM (or similar non-volatile memory), it will stay there even without real power.

Re: HDMI EDID hack to allow 5.1 passthrough

Next, I'm going to see what the EDID 1.2 Port option gives. It's the older standard and maybe does not have anything about audio capabilities.

Btw, DD 5.1 pass through from internal player works using the samygo_dca, when I'm playing files recorded with PVR+ (from a channel that has a DD track)
