Re: libGame.so launcher restrored for A/sh4 series

If you develop or port some great app to A series, you need metadata file in silly hex coded unicode. Following perl script samyAmeta.pl may help you: #!/usr/bin/perl use POSIX qw/strftime/; use File::Basename; binmode STDOUT, ":utf8:crlf"; sub encode_str { my $str= shift; foreach my $ch (split //, ...

Re: libGame.so launcher restrored for A/sh4 series

Some technical details for developers (or for me when I forgot...) inj-dbgin.elfpatch Loads library sym.so at startup and inj.so later when ethernet/UPnP is initialised. To obtain room for patch, one Samsung's stupid "safety measure" was removed: Debug menu normally uses stdin/out. But if you entere...

Re: Hacking T-RBYDEUC Firmware - LE40A756 and A856

Long time ago I wrote here To end rumors: T-RBYDEUC 1013 firmware does not execute .so games I studied it in exeDSP binary: an easy patch can reenable browsing SEC_GAME folder. When you select Telnetd app, instead of loading and executing .so lib a builtin game DBowling is run. Although dl-load (.so...

libGame.so launcher restrored for A/sh4 series

Long time I've been envious that almost every Samsung TV can load executable modules but my LE46A956 cannot. It looked like good idea to re-implement short part of code which Samsung blocked. I didn't know that dynamic loader issues and combining statically and dynamically linked libraries could mak...

I don't know if it's same on hardware based MCUs.
Configurable on atmega usb too.

Re: Brightness auto adjusting to ambient light level

For rounding, it's better to handle it on MCU code. It would be better only if MCU outputs final value to write into backlight register. As we both do some math is TV sw, the final value should be protected from digital noise. Also I wanted to have "responsive" light sensor. When I open the light, ...

Re: Brightness auto adjusting to ambient light level

erdem: I commited http://samygo.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/samygo/oe/branches/branch-0-0-1/oe/packages/autobright/files/autobright.c?revision=1166&view=markup for your reference. We should unify method of usb access. Does GenericHID have better chance to pass a filter in C-series on not? Also got so...

Re: Brightness auto adjusting to ambient light level

I got a little atmega32u4 board . Although I bought it for other project I couldn't keep from trying it as USB light sensor. As Erdem's poor man's version delays, here is result of 10 minutes work: http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/9381/atmega32u4lightsensor.jpg Except the mini board you need a senso...

Re: Brightness auto adjusting to ambient light level

Moved back to suppress the riot... The riot is not over ;) Erdem do you know that I started the thread in General section, not in A series where you moved it? I'm ok with it anyway. The problem is TV don't recognize dongle on start-up. But it recognizes if I pull & plug it again. I am suspe...

Re: Control TV with service port (RS232 - exlink)

Nobody replied for long time... maybe because you have not told us the model number of your TV set. You might find useful brand new wiki page http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title=Ex-link_in_service_mode_on_A_series%28SH4%29 If you TV has network connection, you may try to port internet remote contr...
